The Concrete Blonde (Harry Bosch, #3; Harry Bosch Universe, #3)The Concrete Blonde by Michael Connelly
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I only started reading this series recently, and I sure am glad that I did so. The brilliance of book itself lies not on just the plot, what truly stand out was the details. The frustration, the fear, the indignance of the characters were all exceptionally portrayed, giving a real life feel of the story to the readers. The double fork way of telling the story was able to prevent the plot from being tedious, grabbing the attention of the readers on all front throughout the whole book

The thing that really caught on to me in this book was how it was clouded with depression and lost, but ended on a sign of hope, something happy that I hope could last. It is really life after all, sometimes depression overcomes us all and all that we can do is to hope for the better or else life is not worth living.
